...where I love Hallmark.

I am a big card person. I know most of the time people read them and enjoy them for 5 seconds and then throw them away. I tend to be the complete opposite. Until about a year ago, I had kept every card I had ever gotten since I was 13. I am now 25. But I love to give cards even more than receive them. There’s something about finding the perfect card to express how you feel. There have been many times that I just peruse the card aisles and come across a card that just screams someone’s name to me. It may not be even close to their birthday or another important life event, but I buy it and hold onto it until the perfect time.

My favorite greeting cards are from Hallmark; it is their Fresh Inc. line. My good friends Ka-Ryn, Steph, and Steve introduced these cards to me and I have never looked back. They are completely square and are known for their quirky sense of humor, although you can find serious and cute cards from them as well.

Today, I had to go get a card for Boss’ Day. I didn’t get Fresh Inc., but I always look through them while I’m at the store. It is the holiday season and for some reason Hallmark decides during this time to take Fresh Inc. off the shelves! This is so annoying! But this time it may be OK. The Hallmark store here in Round Rock is awesome. I was talking with one of the workers and they said they would take them out of the back for me! So, I got to go through and pick up some new ones! So exciting. They never let me do that in California.

Here are a few of my favorites I got today:

I call this one “funny close girlfriend birthday”

Inside: We’ll always be good for each other. Happy Birthday

This one is “funny for anyone birthday”

Inside: Fingers Crossed!

It cracks me up every time.

I call this one “wonderful friend reminder”

Inside: You’re good for me.

“Help someone smile”

Inside: I hope today is the hopscotch kind.

And last…”Just because quirky/funny/yet thought provoking”

Inside: Blank

What do you think of these? Do you have any favorite greeting cards or are you like most and don’t really care?

I’m off for now, but until next time…PEACE OUT!
