Environmentalism is Racism?

While searching for news stories, editorials, ads, etc to show the views, behaviors, and attitudes of people that don’t “support environmentalism”  or don’t believe in “going green” (I’m not going to attempt to define those phrases here), I come across some outlandish rants, theories, essays. This one is probably the most absurd I’ve read today. The essay itself is pretty much a waste of time, thought, webspace, but what really gets me more than the unforgiveable one-sidedness and narrowmindedness of these pieces is the little bites at the end of all these pieces that say “So and so, the author, has an an MBA, a PhD, graduated from an accredited university. He/she has many other published works and holds a prestigious teaching position.” My response is holy Hell, what is the point of a college education?!  There is something seriously wrong with our educational institutions. Clearly, they are not providing the tools and skills to think.

There are so many more convincing, legitimate arguments for opposing certain environmental policies or intiatives…why resort to this rubbish?
