Paul and I met Angela and KH/Taz/Jarr last evening after 7pm for kite flying.
Yes. Kite flying.
In fact Chen Wei jio-ed Paul for Halo Bar ( Ngee Ann Poly) for some soccer and drinks ard 5+ and we actually thought of fitting that in together with the company that day after kite flying.
“Can see the kite?” I asked Angela over the phone… she giggled…
“Anything lor” – Taz had earlier msg Paul that he will be having dinner with Angela parents…. we cheekily replied ” to discuss abt wedding ah?” and was met with no reply… haha.
In fact Paul called me Friday noon ard 3+ to ask if I wanted to go fly kite and it was the exact response I gave to Angela.. haha…and boy, did he got home early that day – before 6pm.
Down at West Coast Maccas, a kind family man came up to paul and asked if he was getting any EVM, he then passed us the coupons leaflet that he barely used for his fam and I in turn passed it to the Indian boys who were right behind us in Q after tearing out the coups we needed wanted. The boys however said no thank you initially …then i went on to explain that they could get some food of their choice free if they got the EVM.
After overhearing them saying they would use it on another day… I added ” it expires on the 21st…”. haha…KPO..iam.
At the tables… the conversation was abt BTOs, resale flats and some of the likes… which brings us to case in point – Deja Vu – Sengkang.
Taz and myself were trying to explain that SK was just mins away from town,and the likes to Angela.
The article that ran on Lifestyle today was abt SK being ulu no more.
Taz quipped that 10yrs ago as we they sat.. the conversation was abt games. 10yrs later… the conversation is abt housing… in sync I we said 10yrs later we’ll be talking abt diapers…(he said kids…ithink)
Mommy… he cried. …ok he didn’t actually cried mommy… “I wanna talk abt games!”
We brought out the big parrot/eagle we got from bali for the ride.
After numerous modifications – knots tying with the help of Angela who was otherwise engrossed with a new Idol drama from Taiwan .. Paul finally got the bird/kite to fly as I saw the bird up in mid air at a distance before it was lost to the orangey sky… haha… albeit it was a vigorous sport of running ard the field in circles.
Moments later AC and Aaron turned up.The man’s going “back”(Mon 0120hr) to Perth for 2 weeks.Which reminds me Rae is alr gone(Sat) and I failed to meet her AGAIN.
Into the night , Aaron had his fair share of running ard with the pet bird as it flapped its wings amidst uproarious laughter.
We headed back to Maccas before leaving ard 1.30am.
I K.O at just mins to 4 and got up ard 10 10.30am today.
