my friend alex recently showed me these 2008 clips from spain’s version of “who’s got talent?” this 23-year-old self-taught saxophonist has crafted a unique style of playing, which he has coined ‘ovni.’ these videos show his casting entry, the semi-finale and the finale. the program goes on to show more of pedro’s life and talent, explaining that he started practicing in his parents’ pantry at 10-years-old and eventually started forming his own way of playing the saxophone, mixing in various throat sounds and elements of beatbox. impressive.
